Ya Hafeth Ya Ameen presents a collaboration between the collections of Widad Kawar and Sami Moawiyah Yousef, bringing together protective silver adornments from Jordan, Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, and Oman. The exhibition features a wide selection of early 20th-century silver jewelry incorporating amulets and talismans, alongside full costumes representing each country, offering insight into the superstitions and beliefs of the time, when protective objects were closely tied to a widespread belief in supernatural forces.
